

Luis' experience focuses primarily on transactional matters and mandates. Luis has advised and represented clients in a wide range of commercial transactions in various industries, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, spin-offs, construction mandates, acquisition of industrial machinery, among others. As a complement to his transactional experience, Luis regularly advises clients on antitrust matters, either in connection with notifications or investigative filings. Additional representative matters involve the negotiation of an international investment protection contractual framework and power purchase agreements with the Paraguayan government. Luis also has international experience in cross-border litigation and arbitration, asset recovery, recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards, production of evidence in support of international litigation, and investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
